Yeah, I changed the mechanism after my initial test showed turtling was the best strategy, and it was quite boring.
Going out a bit more often will give you chance to get surplus so you can afford bribing.

Made it to Magician of the Silver Sky and I'm pretty proud of that, took me quite a few tries to figure this one out! Very entertaining game.

Don’t worry, so far only two people reported reaching that level :o It takes some serious luck to get there!
So far the most I've made it is 7 days... but I want to keep trying! This is really addictive!
I'll be honest with you, I never got past 18 in testing, at least without cheating. A friend of mine consistently got to 20-ish though.
